After finishing cooking rice, I put it in a Pyrex bowl half-covered with the lid to let the steam escape. It turns out the water condensed on the lid and went right back to the rice! So, in the future, I can’t cover leftovers for an hour, so the leftovers don’t become soggy with condensation dripping right back on the food.
